1982: Priyanka Chopra, was born on 18 July 1982 in Jamshedpur, Bihar to Ashok and Madhu Chopra, who were the physicians to Indian Army

1994: Priyanka spent her high school years in Newton(Massachusetts) and Cedar Rapids(Iowa).

2000: Her mother then entered her in the Femina Miss India contest of 2000; she finished second, winning the Femina Miss India World title. Chopra then went on to the Miss World pageant, where she was crowned Miss World 2000 and Miss World Continental Queen of Beauty—Asia & Oceania at the Millennium Dome in London on 30 November 2000.

2002: The screen debut, Priyanka Chopra debuted in Tamil movie Thamizhan as the love interest of the protagonist. Her first recording, the song "Ullathai Killathe" in the Tamil film Thamizhan

2003: Priyanka Chopra made her debut as second lead role women opposite Sunny Deol in the movie Hero: The Love Story of a Spy. The movie had the mixed review of the critics but on the other hand, was one of the top-grossing movies that year. Later that year, she debuted as the lead role actress against Akshay Kumar in the box-office success- Andaaz, which made her earn the Filmfare Award for the Best Female Actor Debut.

2004: After winning the award for the box-office success, the performance of Priyanka Chopra was on the nine clouds. She acted in the movies Plan, Kismat, Asambhav during this early year. She starred with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar in the Inda's third-highest grossing movie of the year Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and emerged as the commercial success. In the same year, she starred opposite Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor, for which she won Filmfare Award for the Best Performace in Negative Role.

2005: This year was one of the best years of Priyanka Chopra making her appearance in six films in the year 2005 - Blackmail, Karam, Waqt: The Race against the Time, Yakeen, Barsaat, and Bluffmaster. 
Piggy Chopps was the name given to her back in 2005–06 by Abhishek Bachchan while shooting the movie Bluffmaster.

2006: She made her special appearance on the screen with the best hit movies of all time - Krrish with Hrithik Roshan, Aap Ki Khatir and Don with Shah Rukh Khan. The actess was now pushing herself with a definite potential for the screen magic.

2009: She played feisty Marathi women role in the movie Kaminey and subsequently, she appeared in the movie What's Your Rashee? The film depicts the story of a US-based Gujarati NRI in search of his soulmate among 12 girls (all played by Priyanka Chopra) associated with the 12 zodiac signs. She received the Screen Best Actress Award nomination for her performance in the film. She was also considered for inclusion in the Guinness World Records book for being the first film actress to portray 12 distinct characters in one film

2011:  This year undoubtedly ended up as a milestone in Priyanka Chopra's career graph with next hit: 7 Khoon Maaf, for which she sparkled like never before and also earned her the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress. 2012: Chopra's first film of 2012 was Agneepath starring Hrithik Roshan, which eventually broke the highest opening day record in IndiaChopra became the first Bollywood star signed by Creative Artists AgencyHer first single, In My City, debuted in the US on 13 September 2012 in a TV spot for the NFL Network's Thursday Night Football, 12 hours after the full song debuted in India. This single won her the Best International Debut award at the People's Choice Awards India. Later this year, she starred as the physically disabled for the movie Barfi! starring Ranbir Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz.

2013: This year was the biggest commercial success to the point after starring in the movies- Zanjeer, Krrish 3 and also she appeared in an item number titled "Ram Chahe Leela" for the movie Goliyon Ki Raas Leela  Ram-Leela. She also released her second single Exotic feat. American Rapper Pitbull

2014: Chopra played the lead female role in Yash Raj Films' romantic action drama Gunday. Chopra next starred as the title character in Mary Kom, a biographical film of the five-time world boxing champion and Olympic bronze medalist Mary Kom. Chopra won the Screen Award for Best Actress, the Producers Guild Film Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

2015: Chopra starred in Dil Dhadakne Do, for which she sang the title song, a duet with Farhan Akhtar, for Dil Dhadakne Do. This year marked her entry in the Hollywood when she signed the talent holding deal with ABC Studios in the American Thriller Series Quantico as the character Alex Parrish. Chopra next portrayed Kashibai, the first wife of the Maratha general Peshwa Bajirao I, in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic historical romance drama Bajirao Mastani. The feature opened to positive reviews, and Chopra received praise for her portrayal which several reviewers regarded as her best performance to date.

2016: Chopra starred as a police officer in Jai Gangajaal, which didn't perform commercially. She debuted as the producer in the Marathi movie Ventilator under production company Purple Pebble Pictures, which went on to win three awards at the 64th National Film Awards


The Government of India honored her with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, and Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

2017: Chopra made her Hollywood live-action film debut by playing the antagonist Victoria Leeds in Seth Gordon's action comedy Baywatch opposite Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. Baywatch was not a commercial success in North America but performed better in overseas. Forbes listed her among the World's 100 Most Powerful Women in 2017.
