Rajpura, India: Rajpura Congress is in crisis due to the bitter rift between two Congressmen Hardial Singh Kamboj and Jagdish Kumar Jagga. Sooner rather than later, this rift iwill demonstrate a big upswing in the politics of the city. A year ago, Jagdish Jagaa had join Congress subsequent to going up against Hardiyal Kamboj in 2017 Assembly Polls. On the other hand, the two time MLA and a chief whip of the party in the assembly, MLA Kamboj is considered close to Captain Amarinder Singh and MP Preneet Kaur.

Earlier when he was the part of the Akali Dal(SAD), around then CM Parkash Singh Badal had appointed Mr Jagdish Kumar Jagga as Vice- Chairman of Pepsu Township Development Board.

During Lok Sabha Elections of 2019, MLA Kamboj by and by had communicated misery over the working of the Captain government as published in the article by Hindustan Times. The shocking scenes were witnessed when the Rajpura Police on the orders of MLA Kamboj halted Jagga for sharing the stage with the invitee Maharani Preneet Kaur as seen in the visuals reported by Action Punjab News.



Later, this contention took an unpleasant crack when MLA took a jibe on Jagga with his statement that "The premier thing that he ought to have served for the betterment of people as the routine practice of the Congress in the state. On the other hand, if he has that capacity of being remunerated something very quickly, it doesn't imply that he will try to threaten people and the party workers by bringing his gunmen to such places." Furthermore, he accused him of property infringement for abandoned land owned by municipal corporation.
